There are just over 2 weeks until I'll be on the start line in Durban and run my second comrades marathon. For someone that has never run this race its not easy to explain the emotion and magic of this event. Many people that have run the great marathons around the world rate The Comrades Marathon as one of the most special. 89km of running requires a huge amount of preparation and just getting to the start of this event injury free is an achievement.
